Short version: no accounts, no cookies, no ads, no tracking of who you are.
Your puzzle progress, streak and settings live in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device except as described below, and you can clear them any time in your browser settings.
When you finish a puzzle, we receive an anonymous game record: the puzzle number, your moves, time taken, and coarse locale info (language, timezone). We use it to calibrate puzzle difficulty and to show community stats like “68% fell for the trap”. It contains no name, no email, no account, no advertising identifiers, and we do not store your IP address with it.
If you choose to join the waitlist, we store the email address you give us and use it only to tell you about the Fourword game launch. One-click removal on every email. We never sell or share it.
